We have Apple Watch’s, they do it automatically, my wife fell over and the watch sensed it and asked if she was okay (she was), but because we had only recently started using the watches she did not clear the message, she then received a phone call from the pompiers asking if she was okay. If she had not replied they would be able to find her as the watch has your location!

Not remotely scary @JaneJones if you ride horses etc. That’s exactly why I got mine. Good to hear it works!

If it can save your life, it’s not very scary.
Well, if the ability to help in emergency comes at the cost of Apple (or Google, for Fitbit) having a substantial amount of health data about you, I’d say you need to be aware of the problem at the very least.
