There is now some up and coming controversy in the UK about ‘rainbow poppies ‘ to remember LGBT+ soldiers
Soldiers (and other forces personnel) fought without regard to their sexuality, not because of it. Therefore, in my opinion, rainbow poppies are unnecessary.
Purple poppies for animals are another matter altogether.

I agree ,I have no issue with the rainbow. (I wear a rainbow badge at work ) but I think a red poppy is inclusive enough for humans
