I can’t vouch for it’s precise position - I could be out by a K either way - but there was a huge pile of rubble the last time I passed in December 23. It’s possible the stones have already been recycled. I’ll keep looking for any others though!
You could well be right - two months is a long time considering the number of people looking for similar material, but thank you for letting me know.
I have seen other piles of stone but it’s usually earmarked by the owner for their own projects, or it has disappeared before I can find out who owns it. C’est la vie!
I’ve had a couple of chats with my French neighbours which might yield some results - they are very friendly and helpful so I will keep my fingers crossed.
