No (though I’ve only had it once) it’s a much thicker, smoked pork saus - merguez is either lamb or lamb beef mix and perhaps spicier. T
That reminded me, must get some merguez tomorrow - after seventeen years of marriage, my wife only found out last week at a braai that she likes merguez. This is despite my often having that Maghreb delight on our once a week separate menus evening (when she has farmed salmon or prawns).
