Yuk, tried it once, akin to the gelly stuff you used to put wallpaper on with. Nothing like mashed spuds.
Yesterday I took our âultra dechettesâ rubbish to our nearest bins which are 750m away as I wanted to start the new year with a zero account with our annual usage.The card reader wasnât working AGAIN so went to the next nearest bins 2km away which are close by the Marie in the village. The card reader wasnât working AGAIN and there were at least 30 bags of who knows what dumped next to the bin.
Our regional waste disposal system was broken before it even started.
With the extra rubbish generated over the festive period by many non locals who donât have a card to access the bins and locals who do and card reader not working the whole system is a shambles.
Perhaps our Mairie will fix it and have the bins relocated from the Mairie and centre ville then it will be out of sight out of mind.

I spoke too soon - they came for the trash and recycling bins on schedule but I have had to go and retrieve the garden waste bins this morning (in the rain) as they are not coming for those until Jan 13th!
I failed to read the small print on the Council website correctly, where it said âcollections as normalâ in one section, but then underneath âno garden waste collectionsâ as a separate announcement. 
Anyway it beats having to go to the âcommunity recycling centreâ aka dechetterie in Witley which is 8 miles / 13km away.
