Seldom disclosed on any product not showing off it high CRI, the general type are about 80% CRI.
Serious Readers have a new addition to their range at an introductory price of about £75 - full price £100.
It has a high CRI of 95, and can run on internal rechargeable battery for 4.5 hours, or continuously when plugged into a USB charger.
I haven’t seen or used this specific lamp, but I have several relatives and friends who have started using Serious Reader lamps and now wouldn’t consider anything else.

Serious Readers have a sale until the end of the month, following a warehouse clearance last month. I wonder if they’re going to reconsider their pricing.
Anyway, I solved my problem with the help of a lady in the town (@ChrisMann is already thinking of a joke) who found me a tall side-table on which I can perch the little SR lamp that I had all along.
