Our first winter here (North Dordogne) was very wet followed by very cold. Second one was very cold ( -15). Nest 2 after that quite mild. Since we are in the Perigord Vert rain is frequent and heavy -or we wouldn't be green!. However winds are a bit gustier than last couple of years.
we haven't really had a winter for the last couple of years (aveyron/tarn), i remember the weekend 10 years when we had 3 foot of snow overnight (2005/2006) and others where it got down to -15°C. Climate change or cyclical variation...?
