Yes… and using freely available ventilation can sometimes be a good idea… it all depends on the set-up. :wink:

Yes when you have burnt a pizza but uncontrolled ventilation wastes heat outside of the summer months. Exchanging the air whilst retaining most of the heat is the way the world is moving.

You could get a lovely Størvatt and put it possibly under an auvent or something like that although the flue pipe might be tricky.

Looked at these a few years ago, not cheap, but very “hygge”, unless you’re the person who has to start the fire and keep it topped up in the freezing cold beforehand :wink:

Pellet burner? Self feeding and controlable.

Then one can get into a debate about the esthetics of having a pellet burning stove powered by electricity and a “twue” wood burning stove :rofl:

Easily settled by the poor bugger that has to get out and re stoke the fire. :joy:
