I’ve just seen the new posts on this thread which was started in 2014.
Bizarrely enough I’ve recently got our stove top fan back and it’s now in use again !
When we installed a pellet stove it became superfluous to requirements so I passed it onto my daughter. She then moved and the new place had a built in ventilation system for the wood burner. So she handed it back.
I then passed it onto a friend.
He got it out of storage a couple of days ago and it’s now happily working its magic on top of the stove.
Funny how life works out !
