What’s next? He sounds desperate!
It’s *possible* he was referring to the fact that he has only a single 4 year term left.
But I wouldn’t put money on it.
There’s a certain type with dictator ambition, like Putin, like Xi Jinping, in a long line through history from Caesar, Stalin, Hitler, Mao and on, whose grip on power will only end by prying it from their cold, dead hands.
I’m not sure if they are born this way or if power corrupts them absolutely but it certainly seems to be their drug of choice.

I don’t know (who does?) but I’m beginning to have hope the Democrats could take this election. I have no doubt that team Trump will try every underhanded trick in their arsenal to derail the movement but democracy supporters have been given hope, and that’s powerful.

Neither would I.
He can blame the Christians if he loses, and if he wins, he can side-step any Christian demands by pointing out that he did say he is not a Christian.
I wonder if the very successful rise in appeal to a better humanity is inspired by that expressed by Labour in the recent UK national election. I really hope that people everywhere are finding ways for overcoming hate. We may need each other in the near future.

Standing in the queue in Centrakor (for those who don’t know it a wonderful Aladdin’s cave of stuff you never realised you needed) a tall, slim elderly lady (she could have played an austere nun in some melodramatic film) behind me walking with difficulty with a crutch placed her two balls of wool among my items and then apologised. I said how lovely the colours in the wool were and she told me she has been making scarves and hats for Ukraine for the last two years. I said what a mad world we live in these days and I found myself in a conversation with her about “The End of Times”. I hope she’s wrong. But sometimes I wonder.

Too much testosterone.
He’s not that clever or sophisticated IMO Bonzo. he just opens his mouth and nobody knows what will come out, least of all him. That’s what’s worrying his minders now, because he is becoming gaga. He was less gaga than Joe but no way as sharp as Kamala.
I think it’s going to be dirty abuse, even worse than up to now, from the Republicans all the way in.
Edit: Reflecting some more. Trump likes adoration, just look at that loose limbed walk, and he hates not getting his own way. The more pressure that the Democrats can put on him the better. I hope he flips.
