Bleedn’ iPad and thick fingers. I’m mich better on the iMac :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Frankly, my dear, I don’t give a damn, :face_with_hand_over_mouth: Though I do find a frustrated right winger living in the depths of socialist France howling at the moon amusing. You’ve cheered me up.

“The Channel 4 vermin are still there trying to whip up hatred.” The best howl yet :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

So where are you from Gregory, (you said neither US nor UK, correct me if I’m wrong) and if you live in France, why?

Yes I like Johnathan’s rants but I think he’s a bit off the mark in criticising Harris. When Genocide Joe was elected I assumed he knew his shelf-life was limited and that from day one he and the Democratic party would work to prepare his young VP to win next time out. I remember being surprised how soon after the election Trump was back on the campaign trail and holding rallies. The Democrats sat on their hands and let Joe do what he wanted, it was all about him. So, when Genocide Joe became bewildered Genocide Joe and was finally hooked off stage there was no time to choose the best Democratic candidate and little time for the de facto one,Harris, to put together a convincing campaign.

Joe has screwed Afghanistan, screwed Ukraine, screwed Gaza, screwed the West Bank and screwed Lebanon, and as his parting shot, screwed America. Quite an achievement.

Well worth a listen - as always in my humble opinion.

The more you study what political analysts have said it’s clear that the Democrats made a monumental mistake in allowing Biden to seek re-election. He should have been a ‘one term’ president whilst another younger and untainted candidate was groomed before taking on Trump.

Kamala Harris should be politely thanked for putting up a decent fight but she’ll always be associated with Biden so can’t be allowed to try again.

Thoroughly agree:

I have just heard a young American woman from Georgia telling the BBC that the reason Kamala Harris lost was because Trump’s supporters are racist and misogynistic.

Excellent.

Not than just Trump’s supporters unfortunately.

America just is not going to vote for a female president (in fact I think Hillary set that project back a good few years) and sure as hell are not going to elect a black female president.

Plus the Democrats sitting on their haunches and assuming it would be a normal two term run for their man despite his obvious frailty.

Like all elections, different people will have voted the way they did for different reasons… but I’m sure some people did vote for Trump for those very reasons. But that’s not to say that the Democrats were blameless in their defeat.

If Trump delivers what he promised it will force Europe to face a new reality. Britain will then be sandwiched between Russia and the US. Neither of which wish the EU well. This might strengthen the EU and even force Westminster to adopt a more positive relationship with its fellow Europeans.

She never said (AFAIK) how she was going to improve working folk’s lives.

Banging on about “uplifting everyone” and abortion seems not to have worked.

U.K. residents should be more concerned with Starmer’s plans to freeze and tax them to death this winter.
