I sent a note through my Messagerie Personal on the tax site, explaining that I couldn’t remember which year I had opened the accounts so had put in 01-01-2013 for each of them (I reported them last year but didn’t print off the page) adding that I hadn’t opened or closed any during the year. I also added a note about not contributing to the French NI so not liable for social tax. If they want additional information they can ask for it.

Good idea Diana, but thanks to Graham I managed to correct and finally sign my revised declaration. Doing it your way is an option but I prefer to have an instant reply confirming that my true circumstances have been received and noted.
