Astra Zeneca yesterday reported vaccine efficacy of 76% after the first dose.

So - as I said - if/when such new information is peer-reviewed the approval/advice of the various medicines agencies across Europe will ‘no doubt change when there is good evidence either way. That’s the nature of ‘science’.’
It doesn’t affect my point either way, does it? The AZ vaccine is less effective than alternatives - especially, perhaps for older people - so why not go for an alternative (if you get a choice)?
My friends son and family are living there now, working for L’Oreal. Not good.
