And proof they live there, eg taxe d’habitation or impôts fonciers, EDF bill.
For the health thing we just want to know you haven’t got TB or Ebola etc

Been down Eric’s this afternoon got passport, Attestation, EDF bill which has company name on it so I got company details with Eric’s name on too. It’s registered as a SCEA Permagricole. Hopefully this will be enough. When you need a favour you find out who your real friends are.
My only comment would be to make sure that your letter that says you will not work in France perhaps also includes that you will also not be carrying out work in exchange for your hébergement. Being accommodated by an agricultural business could make agents question this.
I’ll draft a letter stating that " Paul and Kathy are friends of mine and please understand that they will not be doing any work" and get Eric to sign it. That should be Ok?
It’s actually your attestation rather than your hosts’.
I just typed a couple of sentences and signed it.
Are you sure? If being provided with housing from friend they have to give you an attestation - it replaces a hotel receipt etc.
But you also have to do your own attestation to say you won’t work.
As regards not working, which is what we were discussing, it is.

I thought we were discussing accommodation! That’s the title of this thread…

I imagine, when you’re constantly helping people like you are, it can be easy to lose the thread!
