Voting Day today in UK

I respond in kind. The original comment was made from a position of very little knowledge of the issue and delivered in a fashion that i felt warranted sarcasm. Then someone else stuck their beak in, accusing me of all the things he himself is guilty of.

I find it quite ironic that so many who became so disillusioned with life in the UK that they left, take umbrage at the notion that Scotland or Wales might want to leave for the same reason. A colonial mentality, I suppose.

There’s an English (from Brum) couple in our commune that I asked why they left England. Their answer was " because of the immigration ". How ironic is that?

I just tried Nadiya’s Prawn and Orange curry. Excellent!

Seems to be the standard answer by Brexit voting, living abroad brits. Shows their intelligence level

I buy a box every week more or less as I get at least three meals out of half a kilo. Stir fry with veg and noodles, pasta with creamy sauce and prawns and my absolute favourite is two slices of brown or cereal bread spread with mayonnaise, then layered with tomato, cucumber, lettuce and finally prawns - basic no cooking but filling and not bad health wise

Its a bit daft isn’t it, I don’t mind immigration, likeva lot of people, I mind piss takers and grifters. The situation in most EU and 3rd nations seems to be out of control because of hostile regimes in these peoples own countries. Trump would no doubt sort this out along with Israel if only the countries had oil. Was the world more tollerant a few years back or was that just a feeling?

I tried to explain to them that they’d become their own problem but far too thick to realise it. Needless to say, I have no time for them.

No one has done that.

One person said he didn’t understand what looked like a contradiction and you replied with an insult. That’s the whole thread so far.

You’re still welcome to provide clarity on what looks like a contradiction. I’ve explained my view on why I think it’s a bit contradictive under qualified majority voting.

Tone it down please. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but no personal attacks please.

I replied to that one person. You stuck your beak in immediately and accused me of something that didn’t happen. Now off you pop. Unless you want to answer the question that WAS asked.

Ok, you haven’t got an answer. Fair enough

Me? I’m only responding to untruths. My tone will remain appropriate. Similarly if the bullshit stops, I’ll stop responding.

hane not got a vote for anything this week :joy:

Think not what you might do for the EU but what the EU might do for you.

My own view is that both Scotland and Wales should be cut free to sink or swim, Ireland should become one again but this time as an independent and English taxpayers stop propping up the minor members.

Btw I am English, have lived in France for over 20 years and have neither need nor desire to return to the Septic Isle .

But true nonetheless

It was an oblique reference to the last day or two. I was being too subtle obviously. :slightly_smiling_face:

When I was told I was being combative, I was suapended from SF for 3 days and I am still not properly reinstated.

It takes at least 6 months after a suspension to get back to TL3 - that’s the same for pretty much everyone.

I managed to read two books which I enjoyed whilst not being here.
