Wasps in the swimming pool

It won't be today, but tomorrow a couple who have a chlorinated pool will be dropping their daughter off here. I'll ask them if they have the same and what they do about it.

Brian, thanks for your help. If you can find out any more it would be hugely appreciated.

It is chlorinated. When we built the house we thought of putting in a salt pool but it was more expensive and I was also worried that the salt might leak into the soil and damage the plants.

The wasps are very dopey, but they are dopey full stop. I love bees and I do not love wasps! When we pull them out of the pool they fly away at once.

My OH just got home, so I asked her whether she had kept the site since we did it on her laptop but remembered it was two years ago. I also just saw the farmer who looks after their little field when they are not here going past on his tractor, but it appears they left just last night and will not be back until late October. He doesn't have a phone number for them. So, better luck than my attempt trying to find out what they actually did about it.

Is it a chlorinated pool? The people with a holiday home a couple of hundred metres from us have had the same problem. The people asked me because I keep bees, which was no help at all since I had no idea. We did a web search with them and found that the chlorine stuns them when they get close to the surface of the pool so that they eventually land in it and then swim about doped.
