Watch out for how hard the water is, your side of the river may be different but both my wells just kill pumps because they are so calcaire. I got the setup to use the water but now I have given up.
Interesting, we are also totally on limestone and our water is super hard. When I go to the source to get some drinking water I’ll boil it to see how hard it is.
I don’t know if the water sitting in the well makes it harder somehow.
