I frequently use a non vowel starter word which gave me the middle letter in the right place. It doesn’t often work but today it did.

Interesting. I tend to do the opposite and choose a word with a maximum number of vowels.
I must admit that getting from the only non-vowel starter word I can think of to the correct result was quite a leap in itself! Do you use any other aids than your brain @mark?
