Nokia Networks introduced their radio access sharing feature in the late 2000s which basically allowed two different operators to use the same radio access network with all the way from mast to core network.

I’m sure there are still distribution points for ADSL/VDSL, and they may be served by fibre but, if you buy a fibre service then it’s fibre to the premises.
Fibre in France is always fibre to the premises. Those white boxes you see on the poles are fibre distribution boxes intended to supply multiple premises with fibre from a single fibre.

When we were switched to fibre in June I ‘assisted’ the subcontract installer (a long story I wrote about at the time).
Having watched the area installation progress over trhe last year or so and with the info I gleaned from the subbie installer we are linked to fibre all the way to its source.
The removal of copper has already started. On the map linked below, you can see the schedule commune by commune.
