Wild Creatures Roaming in our Gardens

Badgers are super. They can move fast but kind of gallumph when they do, I luckily had a sett in my garden in England years ago and used to sit out and watch them. Successive generations got so used to me they came within a metre of me regularly.

Yes, they ARE beautiful! I am not afraid of the critters abounding here but I don't want to encourage them by leaving any foodstuff around that would attract them. I believe there might be badgers too? We live right next to a river, surrounded by kiwi & maize fields so the creatures have access to plenty of water and food. So now I suppose the next step is to Google images of scat and pawprints to try and identify some of them lol

A genet

I suspect. They are not common in all parts of France but hear my neighbours' outrage when chicken houses are emptied! They move very fast, are unbelievably agile and actually I find them very beautiful.
