Hi Peter… Got back from Jarnac tonight… just in time for Gentle Gym… phew…
Jarnac is hot… hot and hotter… apart from that, it is looking good. Some of the shops, which had been lying empty… are now under new management… and flowers everywhere… and the river… well, that was glorious as we strolled along the bank yesterday evening.
I love peeking between the houses, wandering up little alleys etc… and, of course, I chat with all I meet. Lovely folk, lovely atmosphere… and lots of nice places to eat out, if you wish.
Yes,I usually have a nibble in the Alambic in the square. It’s usually good nosh at a fair price.

A friend of mine has 2 tickets for the
England v Belgium game on Thursday.
He paid £500 each, including flights but he didn’t realise when he bought them months ago that it was going to be the same day as his wedding. 
If you are interested, he is looking for someone to take his place.
It’s at Langtons Registry Office, at 3pm. The bride’s name is Cheryl – she’s 5’7" and quite attractive.
