Thanks @Ronin56 . I’ve seen quite a few of those sorts of site and they’re mainly not helpful but I’ve not spotted Doisjerepondre.fr so shall go and look.

How long before the message did the alleged event occur? I have quite a lot of available dashcam footage available of exactly where I am, at what time, and what speed I am doing.

Don’t think it would work like that. 
I got two of those speeding fine ones. Neither had any details about where, when and what the infraction was so just ignored it and did not answer it. A real government amende would have all the details and come by post any way.

There is no event, there is no documentation, the message is completely speculative in an effort to get the victim (me in this case) to panic and press the link in haste. AINSI say they NEVER communicate about fines via text messages.
