One word in English, but twelve in French. What word is this and can you find more?

The answer is chatline.
I have the dictionary on the table and flick through it daily. Today I found chatline.
In French it is: numero telephonique qui permet de bavarder avec plusiieurs personnes en meme temps.
Can you beat this?

oh that’s excellent, no I can’t beat it but I love reading stuff like this! Presumably French typists have shorter fingers than Brits, having worn them down to stumps typing ten time as many words!

Isn’t that just a definition? Definitions tend to be more than one word.

Actually English probably has more words than French…

I think “oil rig” had a similar verbosity.
