I just wanted to know if anyone here has ever had problems with wild boar in their garden. If so, is there any known way of stopping them routing the soil? We've recently moved and have to replant and landscape the whole garden, but given that we have regular boar visits were wondering what and how to plant in order to avoid too much disappointment in the long run.
Just regular wire fencing with posts about 15 feet apart. I suspect they could get through it with some hard work however there is enough other food around and they might hurt themselves in the process.
They don't like electric fencing! Like their domestic cousins they can learn once they've been stung a few times and will avoid the wire.

We had a problem solar lights both fixed and blinking worked for a while. We finally had to fence the garden in.
