The sun is almost here in Paris!
I was wondering if anyone out there has had any experience with getting a 10 year residency card renewed.
My husband and I are Americans living here now for 11 years, with our 10 year card in hand. He is now 60 and ill, and I am already thinking down the road concerning the renewal of our card in a couple of years. Since we will be considerd 'retraites" at the time of renewal, not a working couple with a CDI anymore, can the French government decide not to renew ? no insurance, no nothing after all these years?
I have read a few lines here and there that talk about automatic renewal. That just doesn't seem like the FR governmental ways....
Any insight would be appreciated.
