Thank you @Stella perhaps I’d better check the postbox.
BTW, unless it means something else I would expect to find a PIP in an apple.

Last year the forms didn’t even come out until 17th.
Thanks @JaneJones, I’ll check anyway, on 2nd thoughts it is a long walk round so maybe I’ll wait 'till tomorrow as I am expecting 3 items from Big A.
Income from LEPs etc are not declared as they are French products and the tax office is aware of them. To hedge your bets I would just not add PIP to declaration then add a note about it. That way you are completely above board.
It’s a UK state benefit - Personal Independence Payment.
The online system opened on 10/04/2025. Just log on to your impots account & you can access it from there.
Wouldn’t have a clue how, I always rely on them telling me.
That’s what we were going to do. Our impots have also sent a message via OHs impots account confirming the information so we can copy and reference that message.
Done!
Just to clarify…
We’ve received our Paper forms ( for Declaring our 2024 Income) today, delivered by our Postlady.
… and these papers must be returned to our local French Tax Office by 20th May 2025.
Hope I get one again. It arrived two weeks after I did the online for the first time ever last year after paper forms since early 90’s of which I have them on file of varying colours. I also sent last year’s paper one back LRAR with the same figures I did online as we seem to have two offices here dealing with tax.
The electronic news letter out today from the Ministry of the Economy says that if the return was filed on line last year no paper return will be sent.
Yes to this, I was told that once you did an online tax return, paper returns would no longer be accepted.

One certainly needs a good reason for asking the Tax Folk to let one Declare on the Paper Forms.
But… as was explained to us by a helpful Tax Official… those who do have a good reason, will not be denied…
But as has been said many times before the Impots prefer people who have access to the internet to use the online version.
As has also been said many times before … and is also on the Impots site… Paper is available for those who really need it.
But it does still happen that you get them. Just ignore.
But next year (I think, or year after) if you don’t have a suitable justification you will be charged for paper forms
Each year there seem to be ‘where am I taxable’ type questions from those working remotely full time, either for a UK company whilst physically in France, or vice versa. The French Embassy site in London gives the definitive view (from the French Government side, and I doubt the UK government would disagree).
Brief summary:-
Resident/ physically working remotely in France for UK company - taxable solely in France
Resident/physically working remotely in UK for French company, taxable only in UK.
