After years of suffering Orange and not being able to suspend their monthly internet charge when we’re not in France, the final straw is no longer being able to suspend our fixed phone line either. A friend in the UK has recommended going to a company called UKSofa and buying their 4G ‘data tunneling’ router and buying a French SIM card at the local tabac. He suggested that 1GB of data would give about 1 hour of streaming live TV, etc., Does anyone have any experience of this company, or have a better solution? I simply want to get rid of Orange phone and Livebox, use our UK mobile for calls and let everyone watch some TV whilst we’re at the house for a month at a time.
