As a very soon to be octogenarian, I need all the help I can get when in the garden. I saw a barrow on promo in Carrefour for 150 euros and it is proving to be very useful. I made a short (very amateur) video of its features.

Fiendishly cunning. And amazingly flexible.
No sound on the video? Some wheels on gravel sound effects perhaps?
I want one. However I find your videos very stressful as you don’t look like your avatar!!! I agree with Chris, needs gravel noise.
I only wanted to convey the versatility of the cart. I was not aiming at a cinematic masterpiece. It was a series of one takes using my phone propped up on a stand then cobbled together. I thought I had ticked the box for no audio so any sound was purely accidental.
I chose the Doc character from “Back to the Future” for my avatar because he best fits my view of myself.
Perhaps a remake of Sergei Eisenstein’s silent classic “Battleship Potemkin”?
It’s a good video, I just thought a bit of live sound would have been nice…
I’m nowhere near 80 but have a petrol brouette and it is so useful!
Maybe with Born to Run as the soundtrack?
or Life In The Fast Lane?
Something’s surfacing from long ago …
A great piece of kit, I bought quite by chance a 2 wheeled barrow, larger than that some years ago and am so glad I did, the 2 wheels mean that if needed it can be moved with one hand, great for sharp corners.
I also bought a garden trailer which I converted, thanks to the local blacksmith, to fit on my 2nd hand Husqvarna petrol mower. The drawbar was extended by him to allow enough space for me to sit on the front of the trailer while steering it. Not for mowing but good for moving stuff like firewood logs around.
That sound interesting. Do you have a photo of it, by any chance?
At the moment it is minus one wheel and propped up against a wall awaiting the repair of a puncture at the bike shop but I’ll have a look at what I’ve got.
Edit: Just had a quick look and can’t find it amongst hundreds of pics, but I will take one when I get the wheel back and connected to the mower.
What a great invention did you invent this Wheelbarrow. ? Very practical for people of a certain age for gardening ect . I don’t think it would last very long on one of my Building projects But Definitely will be getting one for the House I think it would be very useful. Thank you for sharing
Fantastic vid!…really like your work wear too!
No, only the add on bits Yes definitely more suitable for the garden than a building site.
