Very funny, I have never bought the Guardian, or any other paper come to that since about 1960 when the Daily Herald disappeared into Murdoch’s maw, but, I did go through a period of writing Haikus which I sent to them and they were kind, and astute enough, to publish some of them.

I never saw them in print because I never paid for a copy, but they didn’t pay me for my contributions either, so fair enough I reckon.
