A new film on Prime Video set in Languedoc

Hi all,

I’m the writer and director of a newly released film, Passing Through, which is available now to watch on Prime Video in the UK. It will be released in the US and France soon, but anyone with a VPN can probably sneak a view right now.

We shot it a few years ago, but as with a lot of small indie film, the path to release hasn’t been smooth. Still, I’m as excited as I am relieved that people can now watch it in their homes. It stars Mark Little (whom you might remember as Joe Mangel from Neighbours) and Lilit Lesser (who was recently Princess Mary in Wolf Hall), and tells the story of an Australian couple who’ve upped sticks to start a new life in France, only to find the ghosts of their pasts (in the form of the man’s estranged son) quickly catching up with them.

Will look out for this one. Languedoc is a big region so will be interesting to see where it is set, perhaps down this end, who knows! I’ll see if its on Plex first as I get that via the US.

I just watched the trailer and it looks pretty good.
I think its filmed in and around Agde.
ill be watching it for sure.

Yes, it is indeed mostly in Agde. There’s a short part in the hills around Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert and some scenes on the coast near Agde as well.
