Abdul El-Sayed!

Who else is loving him right now, habibi?

His victory speech made my day.

He seems a typically arrogant American politician. Wouldn’t speak to Sky News because it would be of no advantage to him.

Just when you think Michigan can’t get any worse, it finds a way.

Totally agree. This guy is a typical minority person who suddenly makes good. He has secret plans to be president but has not the foresight to see how an international spotlight can help.

But it is ok - Michigan will return to Republican when Trump is finished.

How do you define this please?

Adam, Get real this was during the last few hours before voting . What kind of reception would you have got had you bumped into Andy Burnham and asked him about his golf handicap going in for the Budget

Errmm, have you looked at his CV? He “made good” a long time ago, if indeed there’s anything to make good as he’s a born and bred American.

Um … I’m not a reporter, the questions weren’t about golf (why do you think they were?) and - on current showing - Burnham is massively more politically aware, and courteous, than this bozo.

So your analogy needs some polish …

I saw a good interview with him.

This made me chuckle:

Obviously you don’t understand the concept of irrelevant in the context of a US local.election.

Let’s see if he gets re-elected in four years time…

Jane Jones, everything I’ve seen about this guy makes me think he’s the real deal. It’s great to have inspirational figures elected to state and national offices. I give a lot of credit to mayor Mamdani

…of New York for showing how to get things done that benefit all the residents. People in the US outside of New York looked at him and thought, So that’s how it’s done. Maybe it’s even possible where we live.

As a Senator ..he is in place for 6 years . That nicely positions him for President . Note he is a medical doctor

It was a welcome surprise when Abdul won! It made my day too.

I agree with you that he modelled his run for voters like Mamdani did. It won him the votes he needed. I am so thrilled by his win. “Je bois du petit lait”.

I do not see why that was offensive?

I didn’t say offensive: it was arrogant, ignorant and – on the video – he has potential to be a bit of a bully (taking hold of a reporter).

Maybe it’s the supplements he takes.

I am going to make a few points .

  1. You have no idea what had happened in the time before the video started ..or was edited out . Reporter’s can be extremely aggressive ..and indeed often need to be to get interview .
  2. Would you have condemned John Prescott when he hit the egg thrower years ago.?
  3. Abdul has been trained as a medical doctor and medical practitioners have a different perception of private space and touching people than the rest of us

I have looked over his profile on Wilki and I see him as the next Obama . The Zionist Lobby will have to work overtime to keep him down..Stellar Academic career , Real public service in public Health including cleaning up the water situation in Flint , and a sense of humour
