That was my first gaffe when I came to live in France. Champagne going flat for everyone [but me], because one guest arrived very late. I now announce at the outset that we will be drinking UK style!

I make a pork stroganoff with pork tenderloin.
I put small diced green pepper in as well.

Try a good Cremant de Bourgogne, excellent value.
I used to take it to Cowdray on Gold Cup semi finals day and we would laugh at the folks paying through their noses for Veuve Cliquot.
