Adding an overseas born child to retraite

I only recently found the online thing where I can see how many trimesters, or whatever they are called, are shown. I have X number given for the eldest 2 who were born in France but nothing for Remy. I tried to add him via his SS number but wouldn’t let me. There was no indication of how to proceed to do so. He was only avfew months old when we came back but I would have thought I should still get the other parts of it. Has anyone done this and if so, how?

Have you done all the necessary to register his birth here? And have the full translated certificates etc?

then my logic says should be same process as adding a new baby?

I don’t think I can register him anywhere! I called Sydney embassy when he was born to get him added to our livret de famille and they said they couldn’t help as we / he not French. He is in the system here in terms of CAF CPAM ect and has his own SS number. Not sure there is anything else I can do, but if you know of something please say!!! Officials get most upset when they see our LdF with only 2 of our 3 kids in it!

Not easy! This is what pops up, but since I don’t think either of you are French this may also be impossible.

But you might have better luck with a local Aussie official who you could charm. And just own up to having forgotten to do it when you arrived (if you even could) and all you are asking is that he be in your Livret so could they please just give you the form to fill out!

de la copie de l’acte de naissance étranger et sa traduction ;

d’un justificatif de nationalité française pour l’un des parents au moins ;
du livret de famille pour mise à jour ;
