Hello everyone, I have a tricky question. I had the category D license (bus) but didn’t return to the UK for the medical so it was suspended. I wasn’t worried at the time as I was doing different work, but now I would like to add it to my French license. I have my certificate of entitlement with the D marked on it. Will it be possible to add it to the French one and if yes, how can I do it? Many thanks

From what you say, it sounds like you’ve already got a French licence (or have I misunderstood…??)
If that is correct… I think you might need to take the HGV exam in France to get it on your French licence…
Did you actually take the HGV exam in UK ??
this link explains that a straight transfer is no longer possible in some situations, when applying for a French DL.
