Emotional, even though my view of her or the institution is not in accord with his, but I appreciate that he took the time to make such a speech, and in such perfect English too.
When I first heard it BFM TV was flagging up that King Charles would be speaking on BFM at 7pm. I wondered if it meant just that and if his French would be as impeccable as Macron’s English. I watched the first couple of minutes and of course it wasn’t an interview, it was his speech to all the media, in English of course. I don’t know if his French would be up to it, I have never heard him speaking in French, but I suspect it might be.
His mother spoke perfect French from what I understand…
