Agreed value insurance, vintage Bentley: recommendations please!

I recently bought this car, partly because my other old cars are all still in pieces. It is currently registered in Germany, but I am getting it re-registered with French plates.

Seeking recommendations for reliable insurance brokers / companies providing agreed value cover, and perhaps as importantly, which to avoid!

Many thanks … am waiting on their quote … any other recommendations?!

If Fab can’t set you up, the End of the World is nigh :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Not quite of the same level but I ensure my classic Saab with Hervé Clavel and I’m pretty sure they do agreed valuation policies.

Many thanks JohnH, will get a quote. Their website doesn’t seem to mention breakdown cover, I wonder if that is available.

I have it. I think it’s pretty much standard on French policies. If I recall, the breakdown element costs more than the vehicle insurance for me and the total is about €130

Thanks again.

Out of interest, I got a quote from the Peter James VSCC scheme in the UK … £221.37. Lowest quote so far from a French broker is €850 odd. I was the underwriter for this scheme when I worked for Cornhill … and French pricing is a rip off. Even at the low rates in the UK, the claims experience was a line at the bottom of the page, in other words, very profitable. No reason for claims experience to differ here, but there you go.
