Amazon, a necessary evil?

On my phone snapping a picture of a QR code automatically produces a small box asking if you want to go to such and such site, alternatively there is Google lens found in the 3 small dots top right of the screen

I’ll check it out later but in my case it is a little yellow box but it doesn’t always appear, when it does I think I have to tap it but not sure if that makes a difference in the photo gallery.

I think from memory it appears after you take the pi6but before it goes into gall8, might still work in gallery.

It sent me to Adobe. Couldn’t work out what to do with it then.

I’ve bought through Amazon several times and even taken a trial of prime on this trip in the last 4 weeks. Reason: the local bricos are just chaotic for some thing like plumbing fittings - I can spend a hour going through the boxes of fittings and not find what I need (and it might be in the wrong box) or I can go online and it arrives 24-48 hours later by post. Same price, same manufacturer, but I have it without stress and frustration.

I do prefer bricks and mortar for DIY stuff, but when it comes to plumbing they’re just not good enough.

Cannot deny that, 40 minute drive to see empty boxes. So their POS system either doesn’t work or someone is taking a pay cheque and not doing the job. The upshot is places will close.
