Good evening all, Does anyone on here know if Firestick will work on a Samsung smart TV (Tizen) ? I have’nt had the tv for very long but now find It isnt the operating system I thought it was. I have just signed up to Nordvpn and it seems my options are limited to be able to stream UK tV etc. Smart DNS or Using my Computer as a hub or buying a VPN router. I’m on Orange livebox 5 router, so no joy there.
If i go for the Pc option as a hub does that mean the PC will have to be on whilst viewing the TV? I’m sure someone out there will have the answers i seek. Thank you
We have a Firestick on our Samsung Smart TV. We have a little switch box underneath for 3xHDMI as on our last telly the Firestick damaged the HDMI port because of its weight. We run it with Nord VPN. I don’t like the Samsung interface much, but it does work.
I don’t think the TV matters, for it the Firestick is just a HDMI input and any TV in the last twenty years will accept that. You need to install the VPN on the Firestick and you’ll be fine.

BTW, we’re NordVPN users too, its probably the best, but make sure you get the best deal.
