Can anyone recommend a hotel in Amsterdam? I’m planning a visit probably by train so city centre would be good.
I don’t mind if the thread deteriorates to the price of sprouts or the uses of bicarbonate of soda but I would like a couple of recommendations first.

I used to travel to Amsterdam for work, and would always stay in an NH Hotel. Was never disappointed. Not overly expensive from what I recall… Our budget wasn’t brilliant. It’s been a few years since I left that job though, so maybe check some recent reviews to make sure they’ve not gone downhill since.
