An American worth mourning this time

Nothing wrong with the heading and absolutely bugger all to do with Surviving France, but it doesn’t matter.

Might not to you. :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Not to me either, highly appropriate in current circumstances I thought.

:face_with_hand_over_mouth:. We are all different. Life’s rich tapestry :head_shaking_horizontally:. Richer for some than others.

We are all here trying to manage our navigation of our lives in France. (I hope)

Bonne journée :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Some of us judge our fellow humans’ value - whether they were “worth mourning” - by whether they were part of our tribe or not.

Welcome to SF!

PS It’s a place with wide interests, as you will see from the list of Current Topics.

You should read the stuff I don’t post.

Anyway, I thought freedom of expression was important. Or is that only when it fits a certain narrative? Welcome to the forum.

I know! I totally get this . The original heading of this thread “An American worth mourning this time” possibly lead me to misunderstand and see a crass undercurrent meaning of this statement and I apologise if this was not intended. However, if this is not the case and my original take on the statement is correct I must say that this does not reflect your stated values. I just wanted to join to discuss surviving in France. Not for me I’m afraid. :joy:. Au revoir :waving_hand:

Ahh go on, go on, go on, go on (as Mrs Doyle used to say). Don’t take it so seriously, we have great fun here and it’s a treasure trove of information on living in France.

Isn’t the idea here to discuss matters as you would at a dinner party?

So long as you do not say that in front of Pauline McLynn, unless you duck first.
