I saw in a previous forum post an issue with the nationalities drop-down box, when applying for “EU spouse CdS”. The box only offered up EU nationalities to choose from - not British which is what I need. There’s been lots of talk since that this has been fixed…but sadly not for me! I think it must be something technical which I’m missing. Can anyone suggest anything to try? Am at my wits end with it
PS Have tried clearing down my browser, and trying two different browsers - even on different devices. Thanks in advance.
I previously advised (in that scenario) selecting the EU nationality of your husband from the drop down list, and then explaining clearly and politely in the additional information box that technical reasons have forced you to do this, and that you’re a Brit married to a X national as per the attached passport and marriage certificate etc etc. I would suggest this approach might be worth pursuing pending their latest IT upgrade… alternatively if you’re French is up to it, call them and ask if they’re aware that there’s and IT glitch, and ask what they would suggest doing in the interim. Personally I would do the former approach…
