Another vote for LUMON

Okay, so I suppose the title is a bit misleading as I’ve already ‘voted’ so to speak but having had yet another stellar experience with LUMON, I wanted to mention it.

I’m currently paying vast amounts of money to UK lawyers and mediators and need to make regular sterling payments.

Yesterday I received yet another bloody bill. It’s bad enough having to part with my hard earned cash. Spending time making transfers just really hits home in terms of making me really, really stressed about the time, money and emotional pain this divorce is taking.

So being able to literally fire off one short email and then click a confirmation link (as in under 3 minutes max for both) at least alleviates the time and stress factors. Having taken advice from LUMON and made my initial transfer at an opportune moment has also helped with the financial side. Ok, they can’t do anything about the emotional part but providing such an excellent and efficient service is at least, making my life somewhat easier.

I don’t recommend people, goods or services that I don’t use or believe in. I do use LUMON and rate their service extremely highly.

You’re welcome!

I might try them having had a less than stellar experience with TorFx whose German bank thought the funds had been remitted by some dodgy geezer called “Epargne”.

Ah yes, he’s well dodgy. Usually goes by the aristocratic alias of “Caisse d’Epargne”.

Good to know, thanks Cat.

I just sent the funds from the Soc Gen app (as I’ve done a million times for Wise). There’s a drop-down menu from which you MUST choose a “motif du virement”, so I chose “EPARGNE”. It never occurred to me that TorFx’s German bank would think this was the name of the remitter and call in the compliance team. Are they not used to receiving funds from French banks? How can that be?
