Mind you if you pay such little tax then you can afford to be far more helpful and generous to customers. Small setups just do not get the same breaks. The supplier of the original equipment probably doesn’t fare well in all of this. Just like the American gold rush, it was the merchant selling equipment that got rich in most cases
Had a pleasant surprise today. Whilst clearing some shelves I came across this ceramic plate. My wife and I had completely forgotten its existence. We bought it in Puebla, Mexico, a good few years ago.
We have no local shops. I once returned a faulty TV to nearest shopping centre. They wanted the original receipt. Went home and rummaged round till I found it. Returned to shop where they insisted it be returned in original packing. Not amused
That’s one of the things we told Amazon that we weren’t able to do but they said don’t worry, just package it up in a box with no other labels on (except the return address label). We usually keep original packaging for about a year then bin it or I think we probably used it to put around our trees then put some mulch/chippings on top of it.
