Morris sides are built around local traditions, dancing locally specific dances and using accessories from those traditions. So this bunch (Adderbury Morris) have one dance with someone ‘wearing’ a horse & pretending to be a knight. There’s different roles too, like Squire, Foreman, Bag man and Jack’o’the green who is the ‘fool’, dressing differently and and hitting people with a bladder on a stick.
There’s a recently formed local women’s side too.
