I am at my wits end on how to send cheques to Shine and their diabolical support is making me want to tear my hair.
I tried sending by registered post, booked a pickup online through Colissimo from my letter box. Both times it has been returned because Shine did not bother to receive it. Now their support says to send by affixing stamps on the letter.
Not sure if affixing stamps to a letter and sending it is any different from booking it online.
There’s a fintech bank for businesses / self employed people? Thats the only Shine i know of in France but I’m sure there are others, I just thought the mention of sending cheques fitted with banking.
must confess I’m wondering why folk bother with some of these newfangled banks It might be a blessing in disguise that I only have my pension which arrives in my bog-standard CA.
Below are the instructions I found on Shine’s website.
In brief you need to send the cheque to an address that they provide within the app, but prior to that you send details & a photo via the app.
I use Fortuneo as my bank &, on request, they send you pre-addressed envelopes if you want to time travel to the last century & pay in cheques. Thus far I’ve had to do that once in the past year. It seems less hassle than the procedure that Shine are advocating.
