Anyone done a DELF B2 french test recently?

Hi everyone,

I will soon be attempting to pass a DELF level B2 french test and I hope to get someone’s recent experience.

I would like to know if you need to justify your answers during the compréhension de l’oral and compréhension des écrite sections or is it purely multiple choice?

I looked at the example tests on https://www.france-education-international.fr/diplome/delf-tout-public/niveau-b2/exemples-sujets

There are two examples, one asks for justification and the other doesn’t, so does that mean it just depends on the day ? In my option having to justify the answers makes it a lot more difficult so I’m crossing my fingers it won’t be needed :crossed_fingers::crossed_fingers::crossed_fingers:

I did a DELF level B1 a while ago and I’m pretty sure I had to justify my answers so I’ve got a bad feeling it will be necessary.

Update on this, in case it’s useful to anyone.

I did the test yesterday and I didn’t have to justify my answers. Phew!!

That’s good. Did you pass or don’t you know yet?

I won’t find out until early Feb.

I also have the oral production section still to do, that’s not until next week.

I’m glad people are finding the post useful.

A further update from me. Despite the oral production being rather tricky I did pass in the end. It took 3 months to get the results, although I think it would usually be quicker as they said there was a delay due to someone hacking into the system.
