Hello, Does anyone know how to go about getting a low cost car/low car rental for a few weeks? Now perhaps the reason is that I wrote my car off which does not sound good- but there actually was diesel on the road and I was the second car that went off the road on the same strip. I am waiting for the insurance to come through to buy a replacement car and need to be able to drive an hour or so a few times before it comes through. I am near to Villefranche du Perigord on the border of the Dordogne, Lot et Garonne and the Lot? I am trying to avoid the airport car hire option.

Is there a Super U near you? They do very cheap car hire (5 euros per day)
