I received an Amazon gift card from a family member for Xmas. However it was bought on Amazon’s UK site. Does anyone know if they can be transferred, as I also received some from my company’s comité d’entreprise (on French Amazon) and it would be helpful to be able to combine them.
I don’t think you can use it on the French site. I believe they are tied to the country they were bought in. But i have used the .co.uk site in France , you’ll just have to pay postage.

You’d think they’d let you transfer them, or at least use them to buy a gift card on the French site with the UK card. I get that legally they’re different companies, but to me Amazon is Amazon.

You could check with them via Chat - just go to Cust Svcs in the mass of links at the bottom of the page then go through about 3 levels of No none of the suggested topic list then select Chat. You can also elect to receive a call which is usually prompt bur I only use that if the question is not easily type-able
