can anyone recommend a French stockist for this water heater please - Ariston VELIS EVO 80L - specifically the 80L one not the 65L one

We bought one in August for our gite via Amazon (supplier was Sun Chauffage) it is very good.

How quickly does the water heat up?

A couple of hours - but then it stays warm.

I like that there is a display on the front that tells you the temperature of the water - it also seems to learn when we want hot water so always hot in the morning for showers etc using its own eco settings.

Sorry! How strange - I found the right link then it changed. Interestingly the Evo says itā€™s not currently available.

Can I ask how many people it works for. Plumber is insisting 80l is far too small for our needs. Our apt is quite big and most times will only two of is there but sometimes four. Also considering adding a bath at some point in the futureā€¦.However weā€™re also restricted on space as its replacing one currently above a toilet yet all the ones Iā€™m looking at seems very long and we donā€™t have space to. Mount horizontally !

It is fine for 2 - for 4 it is probably too small.

Brico dĆ©pĆ“t, Leroy Merlin. Or you can go to any electrian supply shop and they will get it. Otherwise Amazon scores again. We have the velis and the evo, both are super. No hassle, very well insulated, sleek, which matters since they are on the wall in the bathrooms. The one is 80l and the other 15l. Never yet run out of hot water yet and we run the velis at 60ā°.

To get something small yet storage enough for more people you may need to go to a phase change heat battery like Sunamp. But you could not mount that to the wall because they are extremely heavy. So siting elswhere or a bespoke but probably ugly frame would be needed. Could you put another 80l evo elswhere as 2nd tank?
