“The US used to be a beacon of human rights. Not anymore,” the French Geneva mission said in response. “Today, it stands alongside North Korea, Nicaragua, Mali & Russia, isolated. And the world no longer listens to it."
Yes I read that! And so childish of the US convoy to just walk out!
It is brave though justified imho. To my mind, the US has gone rogue. They are no longer the reliable and trusted allie of recent years past. They have made some valid criticism of the EU, and of NATO, and the ‘free loading’ that’s happened (and the US allowed to happen?) but they’ve gone beyond that and are acting like a playground bully.
I’d like to see other nations offer some carefully constructed criticism. Perhaps Burnham might, I see he’s said that he’s not afraid to.
Soft power. Something not understood by Trump.
Which is odd, actually, as the Mafia understand the power of debt and obligation far too well.
The mafia actually were not complete simpletons ![]()
Seems the Mafia ran an alternate system while the official one was inefficient or misdirected. Could be a little harsh but maybe they understood the society better.
